Constantia was the first wine region in South Africa and still produces excellent wines at Groot Constantia Estate. Meanwhile, for accommodation, one hotel stands out. Located in KwaZulu-Natal, the uKhahlamba Drakensberg Park features beautiful and iconic mountain scenery and lush green valleys. Meanwhile, the park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000 and offers much for the visitor. Besides exploring the hiking trails, the area offers a rich collection of rock art, dating from when the San Peoples called the Drakensberg Mountains their home. According to experts, there are around 600 rock art sites to explore in the park, where they estimate that 35,000 individual paintings can be seen.

One beautiful hotel for a romantic stay is the Cathedral Peak Hotel.
