While not officially in Marbella, Max Beach is hugely popular with visitors to the city and with local people wanting fun at the beach. This expansive complex has a huge array of amenities for beachgoers, including an excellent restaurant, beach club, Asian street food restaurant, pool club and gym.

Besides all the excellent amenities and delicious food, Max Beach Club also offers an exciting array of events throughout the summer. Meanwhile, one most popular is The Maxfest – a festival day concept and others include Full Moon parties in the pool lounge under the moonlit sky on the Costa del Sol.

Tourists planning a visit to Marbella should note that Max Beach reopens its pool and beach on March 23, with plenty of party vibes and relaxation in the sun.

Bono Beach – a blend of traditional chiringuito and chic beach club

Spain’s coasts are renowned for their traditional chiringuitos – beach bars and restaurants – usually housed in quaint wooden buildings on the beach. Bono Beach is a mixture of traditional chiringuito charm with a blend of Tulum, Mexico.

The beach club underwent a huge refurbishment in 2023 and is looking forward to welcoming and entertaining visitors. When it comes to food, Bono Beach pays homage to Spain’s culinary history but with a modern interpretation. However, it also offers sushi poke bowls and seafood platters right on the beach. Meanwhile, the beach club is set to reopen in mid-March to share its inviting atmosphere with discerning beachgoers and diners.

As reported by Sur in English, Marbella is looking forward to welcoming visitors this summer. With its ideal position, around halfway from Malaga to Estepona, this seaside city is also the best place for a base to explore the rest of the beautiful Costa del Sol. Meanwhile, Marbella is perfectly placed for exploring the beautiful inland “pueblos blancos” (white villages), just a short drive from the coast including beautiful Ojen and the historic mountaintop town of Ronda.

Make sure to spend time at Max Beach with its vibrant party feeling, as well as the more tranquil Bono Beach while on vacation in Marbella this year. Alternatively, make sure to bucket list both luxury beach clubs for future visits.
