The Parador de Tortosa lies on the plain of the Ebro River and is hugged by the Beceite Mountains. The 10th-century castle was built for Abderraman III and stands in the upper part of town. Moreover, its setting combines with the monumental beauty of the town.

The castle’s interior combines classical furniture, wooden beams and modern comforts. Standing high on the Cerro de Santa Catalina, the Parador de Jaén was originally a defensive fortress dating to Spain’s Moorish past. The striking castle features a modern swimming pool on the grounds. Meanwhile, the interior features high arches in the main hall and dining room. Nestling on a hilltop dubbed the Cumbre de Cerro Pui-Pinos, the Parador de Alcañiz is a 12th-13th century castle/convent. Meanwhile, it was built as the seat of the Order of Calatrava in 1179. The castle is surrounded by a beautiful landscape and still retains its keep and the bell tower. Moreover, it was partly converted into an 18th-century Aragonese palace.
