Hallmark Channel is known for its feel-good movies, especially those filmed in US national parks. Also, see beautiful photos taken on the set in each of the national parks.

The first movie relating to national parks was Marry Me In Yosemite, filmed in the popular Yosemite National Park in California. As part of the film set, viewers enjoyed shots of the famous El Capitan rock, the largest monolith in the world.

While not officially in the National Park Romance series, it does reveal Yosemite in all its glory. In fact, maybe the success of this movie kicked off the new park-related movie franchise.

Starring Tyler Harlow and Cindy Busby, the movie first aired on September 3, 2022. However, if you missed it, it will be aired once again on Wednesday, October 11, at 2 pm ET on Hallmark Channel.

About the park: Located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California, Yosemite is known for its ancient sequoia trees, the granite cliffs of El Capitan and Half Dome and the towering Bridalveil Fall (pictured above).

The first official National Park Romance was Love In Glacier National Park. Filmed in Montana, this gorgeous park features 25 glaciers. However, likely due to climate change, the number of glaciers is down from the 150 registered in 1850.

Starring Stephen Huszar and Ashley Newbrough, the movie first aired on January 28, 2023. At this stage, Hallmark has made no plans to reprise this beautiful movie, but we can hope!

About the park: Nestling in the Rocky Mountains of Montana, Glacier is a 1,583 sq. mi. wilderness area with glacier-carved peaks and valleys. One of the most striking national parks, it is crossed by the mountainous Going-to-the-Sun Road. Meanwhile, among its more than 700 miles of hiking trails, visitors can enjoy the route to the photogenic Hidden Lake.

Next in line, Love In Zion National Park was filmed in Utah in the beautiful national park itself. Cindy Busby is back in this movie, alongside David Gridley and it first aired on May 20, 2023. The movie aired again on Thursday, September 26, 2023, and will hopefully be available soon.

About the park: Located in southwestern Utah, Zion features the steep red cliffs of Zion Canyon. Moreover, the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive takes visitors through its main area, heading out to forest trails along the Virgin River. Moreover, this example of one of the best US national parks takes visitors to the Emerald Pools, along with waterfalls and a hanging garden.

This latest movie in the national parks franchise was filmed in the Great Smoky National Park in all its glory. Meanwhile, filming took place on the Tennessee side of the park. Starring Zach Roerig and Arielle Kebbel, the movie premiered on September 2, 2023. Lucky for fans of this beautiful park, it will be aired several more times up until mid-October.

About the park: In the Great Smoky Mountains, this park straddles the border between Tennessee and North Carolina. The park’s sprawling landscape includes an abundance of wildflowers, blooming all year round. Moreover, lush forests, rivers, streams and waterfalls can be accessed on its hiking routes, including part of the iconic Appalachian Trail.
