Water Parks of Mallorca
Water parks are a great way to cool off in the summer months, but they also offer a lot of fun for the whole family. Mallorca has a choice of three different water parks, namely Hidropark in Alcúdia, Aqualand in El Arenal and Western Water Park in Magaluf. Each park has a great selection of pools, water slides, wave pools and kiddies’ attractions to suit everyone in the family. Refreshments and snacks are also available at each.
Palma Aquarium
Palma Aquarium is open every day of the year and is located in the island’s capital, Palma de Mallorca. Here around 8,000 marine creatures can be seen of some 700 species, living in 5 million liters of salt water.Visitors can explore the marine life of the Indian, Atlantic, Pacific and Mediterranean oceans in separate sections of the aquarium and visit The Big Blue, the deepest shark tank in all of Europe.
Go-Karting for the whole family
Family fun can be had at Karting Magaluf which has something for all age groups. Children from three years of age can enjoy the minikarts, while teenagers drive the junior carts and parents have their own special race class. Karting Magaluf has three courses to choose from for those who want to race.Older children and parents will appreciate Xtremkart, an indoor track in Mallorca Fashion Outlets. This track offers high-performance karts for an exciting race and while this option isn’t exactly cheap, it certainly is fun!
