2027 Country Cruising Event - Via YouTube

Country music fans, start packing your boots because Flying Dutchmen Travel has announced its seventh annual Country Cruising cruise. The artist lineup is now public. The itinerary is also set for spring 2027.

The announcement reveals that they offer a seven-night themed charter leaving Tampa, Florida, on April 11. Sail aboard the Celebrity Summit, which was recently modernized. The ship turns into a floating honky-tonk for the week. It returns to port on April 18.

A Living Legend & Big Headliners

Per the official website, the 2027 voyage boasts a rare blend of country music royalty, contemporary hitmakers, and rapidly emerging stars, and taking center stage will be a tribute to Randy Travis. Travis will be on board alongside his More Life Tour, featuring the rich, traditional vocals of The Voice alumn James Dupré.

Many iconic hits are planned with Dupré, who will be backed by the original touring band, giving fans an intimate way to celebrate the Country Music Hall of Famer’s enduring legacy.

In an article by Travel Pulse, the information revealed that fans can also expect to see singer-songwriter and active Army officer Craig Morgan, bringing two decades of Billboard hits like “Redneck Yacht Club” and “That’s What I Love About Sunday” to the open ocean.

More Fan Favorites

Hitmaker Russell Dickerson is also set to deliver his signature high-energy modern country performance, while dynamic artists Drake White, Hannah Dasher, Alana Springsteen, and David Nail round out a massive multi-generational bill.

Beloved Grammy-winning songwriter Paul Overstreet will return to steer the ship’s highly anticipated Songwriters Rounds – a fan-favorite event where the stories behind country’s greatest hits are shared raw and acoustic. Rowdy crowd favorites Whey Jennings, Dirty Grass Soul, and Chad Bushnell are also returning by popular demand after standout performances on previous sailings.

Heading West

The 2027 country music cruise is heading west. The Celebrity Summit will sail to the Western Caribbean. Three full days at sea will be dedicated to the music festival and the ship will dock at three ports along the way.

They include Cozumel in Mexico which is well-known for reefs and snorkeling. Next up is Belize City in Belize, and that’s known as the gateway to Maya ruins and rainforests.

Your next stop will be Costa Maya in Mexico. There, you can enjoy a relaxed beach stopover and enjoy the vibe of local culture. This isn’t a typical Caribbean cruise, though.

According to the organizers, passengers won’t just settle into the theater each evening to watch performances. Country Cruising promises a packed schedule of activities designed to bring fans closer to their favorite artists with events like whiskey tastings, celebrity poker tournaments, late-night jam sessions, cowboy karaoke, and line-dancing workshops.

Fans will also have opportunities to meet the performers during special meet-and-greet events.

More Comfort For Passengers

The Country Cruising ship got some renovations done ahead of the voyage, so passengers will get the best sleep on upgraded mattresses after spending time at the modernized entertainment venues.

Dining options also come with new upgrades and folks who enjoy the Sunset Bar and Oceanview Café won’t be disappointed. Oh, and don’t forget the exclusive Retreat offering a private luxury area with its own lounge and sundeck.

New Starlink installations mean that while you’re away from home enjoying your cruise, you can easily stay in touch with your family and friends back home.
