Recently, Regent Seven Seas Cruises dropped some big news, with changes afoot for travelers. Whether you’re a long-time fan of the brand or just planning your first luxury getaway, there’s plenty to discover. Read on to find out more.
More Ways To Explore
Regent’s bringing folks more ways to explore with a 2028-2029 “Legendary Journeys Collection.” According to Cruise Industry News, the cruise line revealed three large itineraries covering 61 to 101 nights. Now, sailing guests can look forward to overnighring in places like Africa, Asia, and Australia.
The outlet cited Wesley D’Silva, president of Regent, as saying:
Today’s luxury travelers view time as the ultimate indulgence, offering not only the freedom to explore more deeply, but the space to truly switch off and reset.
See Europe
First up is a mega-cruise option known as the “Grand Pathways of Europe.” Imagine a 101-night journey. Set sail from Barcelona, Catalonia, on the Mediterranean and end up at Amsterdam.

That’s a journey of about 2,000 nautical miles. Along the way, guests pass through the British Isles and transit the Kiel Canal.
Tropical Choice
If you prefer a cruise with more tropical overtones, then you can select the “Grand Hemispheres Journey.” Start off in Athens in Europe and travel all the way to Auckland, New Zealand, sailing through several time zones. During your 101-night experience, you’ll stop over in places like Mumbai and Bali.
If that’s all too long for you, then you could consider the 61-night “Grand Silk Seas Passage.” That option takes you to some of the best destinations in Asia, including Japan and Vietnam.
Investing In Guests
Per Travel Market Report, the Regent Seven Seas company isn’t just packing as many folks on board as they can. These days, partnering with the “Travel Partner Council,” Regent invests in the interest of their clients.
The initiative, part of the “Regent Elevate” program, is designed to “celebrate, recognize, and further invest in the cruise line’s travel advisor and agency partners.” Members get early access to promotions, exclusive ship events, and specialized recognition while sailing.
Standard-Setting Business?
Recently the company reported on YouTube that they believe their services “perfected The Most Inclusive Luxury Experience®, setting the standard for all-inclusive luxury cruises around the world.”
That’s quite a claim, as they also believe they cater for everything in a flawless way: They “perfected The Most Inclusive Luxury Experience®, setting the standard for all-inclusive luxury cruises around the world.”
They boast that from the moment you embark, “every detail” is flawlessly arranged. Their arrangements include “unlimited shore excursions and exquisite fine dining.”
Viewers React
In the comments section, it seems that the cruise line company doesn’t really need to hard-sell their services. One person commented:
There is no better Cruise Line in the world than Regent Seven Seas. We have always been impressed by the ships, staff, and total experience. We are so impressed with Regent Seven Seas, that we booked cruises through the Spring of 2028 on both Seven Seas Grandeur and Seven Seas Prestige.
Here are a few more responses from the discussion:
- It’s good 👍 video 😍, it’s a pity it’s short. I would like to learn more about cruises on this ship.
- Booked for a July trip. Hope the onboard experience is as good as advertised cause the shoreside experience has been disappointing.
As you can see, perfection might not be top-notch, but certainly, it seems that the Regent Seven Seas cruises try and deliver top-quality experiences.
