Xplor Launches Toboganxote – First 5-In-1 Water Slide In The World

In the heart of the Mayan Riviera, Xplor is one of the most popular zip line parks in Mexico. However, the popular park has now raised the bar to offer more adventure with the inauguration of Toboganxote. This new attraction is the first 5-in-1 water slide in the world. Moreover, it is an innovative addition to the park that promises to revolutionize the experience of its thrill-seeking adventurous visitors.

Xplor Riviera Maya unveils Toboganxote

The first 5-in-1 water slide in the world is a unique adventure for adrenaline seekers. The slide combines four different types of descent in one single route. Moreover, this marks a major milestone in the water park industry.

The Toboganxote has been designed to challenge its visitors and stands at 135 ft (41 m) in height and offers a 1,050 ft (320 m) journey full of adventure. The ride begins with a free fall, dubbed the “Sphere.” Meanwhile, this is followed up by the “Half Wave” to prepare visitors for the “Whirlpool.” This section of dizzying turns, culminates in the “Whirlwind,” before a refreshing final dip in the pool.

The attraction has been designed to be enjoyed in four-person rafts to ensure a shared experience of adrenaline-bursting excitement and fun.

Xplor’s extreme adventure offering

With its inauguration, Toboganxote not only offers guests a new extreme adventure but also underlines Xplor’s commitment to excellence and innovation in entertainment.

According to Marco Antonio Hernandez Diaz, Director of Operations at Adventure Parks, the introduction of Toboganxote to the park’s existing activities is an invitation to visitors to challenge their limits and live unique experiences in the heart of the Mayan jungle. Tobaganxote joins the existing zip line circuits, underground rivers and amphibious vehicles as the park’s attractions grow.

Toboganxote offers jobs for locals

Xplor’s latest attraction not only promises to attract more adventure lovers but also represents an important economic boost for the region. The new attraction has created 69 direct jobs and with a capacity to attract 1,280 visitors each day, Toboganxote is likely to become one of the most popular attractions at Xplor and Xplor Fuego. The attraction is accessible to both park visitors and also guests staying in Xcaret hotels under the All Fun Inclusive® modality.

For visitors protection, the maximum capacity per raft is four persons or 705 lb (320 kg) and the descent takes around one minute and 15 seconds. The attraction is available for children five years and up. Toboganxote is open between 9:00 am through 5:00 pm.
