Some exciting news comes from Mexico this week, as Grupo Vidanta and VivantaWorld announce the upcoming world’s first luxury theme park. VidantaWorld’s BON Luxury Theme Park is set to open in 2026 in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico. Read on to find out more about this exciting addition to Grupo Vidante’s offerings.

Grupo Vidanta & VidantaWorld new luxury theme park coming in 2026

In a recent press release, Grupo Vidanta and VidantaWorld announced plans for a new, $1.3 billion luxury theme park coming to Mexico in 2026. Dubbed Vidanta World’s BON Luxury Theme Park, this will be the first of its kind in the world.

Nestling on 150 acres at VidantaWorld Nuevo Vallarta in Mexico, the new luxury theme park will feature 23 attractions, 25 restaurants and lounges, 16 retail shops and kiosks, and luxury resort hotels. Moreover, the latter includes the recently opened VidantaWorld BON Park Hotel.

Grupo Vidanta Executive Vice President Iván Chávez said in a statement:

VidantaWorld’s BON Luxury Theme Park is a monumental leap forward in the world of entertainment, redefining what a theme park can be as the world’s first all-generations luxury destination.

Grupo Vidanta teams up with Cirque du Soleil

Meanwhile, Grupo Vidanta is teaming up with the mega entertainment giant Cirque du Soleil to make the VidantaWorld BON Luxury Theme Park possible. Moreover, cutting-edge ride manufacturers Intamin, Mack Rides, Vekoma and more also join the team to craft exciting rides for guests to enjoy.

Among the exciting rides planned for the theme park, the record-breaking Tecuani Beast (pictured top) will be Latin America’s only double launch coaster, along with Ashara: Goddess of Fire, Beat It, Delia’s Adventure, Floresta Drop, Izari’s Flight, SOL: Speed of Light, and the Vista Wheel.

“With its seamless blend of cutting-edge innovation, abundant natural beauty, and unparalleled luxury, VidantaWorld’s BON sets a new global standard for experiential entertainment,” Chávez continued.

Guests are also promised a mysterious journey on the enchanting Eternity dark boat ride, while the Enchanted River offers a serene ride, ideal for all generations to enjoy together and a hallmark of VidantaWorld’s BON’s all-generations luxury concept. Moreover, to add a playful edge to the lineup, Splash Canyon offers thrills with its spinning cups and interactive water blasters, providing families with the ideal mix or friendly competition and fun.

Other entertainment at VidantaWorld BON Luxury Theme Park

Besides the exciting rides, the new luxury theme park will also offer LUDÕ, a water-themed dinner show by Cirque du Soleil. Meanwhile, LUDÕ will redefine live entertainment via its fusion of art, storytelling and technology, which is all scheduled to take off in November 2025.

LUDÕ is housed in a state-of-the-art custom theater, offering an amazing 360-degree aquatic stage. Moreover, its innovative production integrates water as the central narrative element, which will captivate audiences with mesmerizing visuals, gravity-defying performances, and an unparalleled gourmet dining experience in Mexico.
