Now, TripAdvisor has released the winners of its annual Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best Hotels Award, and the choices are truly exciting. Meanwhile, the platform gets its results by checking out TripAdvisor user reviews to reveal the top one percent of the 1.6 million hotel properties listed on its website.

– Hotel Colline de France, Gramado, Brazil

According to TripAdvisor’s reviews, the best hotel is the boutique Hotel Colline de France, nestled in the Brazilian mountain town of Gramado. Pictured above and top of the article, this hotel is well known for its beautifully appointed rooms and interiors and its personalized customer service. Meanwhile, the accommodations exude classic French elegance in a South American location. However, this is nothing new, as Hotel Colline de France is in the top spot for the third year, while it boasts more than 4,000 50-star reviews on the travel comparison platform.

– Shore Hotel, Santa Monica is the Best Hotel in the US

Looking at options back home in the USA, TripAdvisor’s reviews reveal a hotel on the oceanfront in trendy Santa Monica, California. It was found that the Shore Hotel is eco-friendly and pet-friendly and stands a few steps from the iconic Santa Monica Pier and is close to many of the city’s attractions.
