Caribbean Vacation: Fly To St. Kitts And Nevis With New Service From JetBlue

Anyone planning to take a vacation to St. Kitts and Nevis has some good news coming. JetBlue has expanded its presence in the Caribbean by offering a new nonstop route between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Robert Llewellyn Bradshaw International Airport (SKB) on Nevis. Meanwhile, the first flight has already arrived on November 2, 2023.

JetBlue has made it easier for US travelers to fly to St. Kitts and Nevis for a Caribbean vacation. The new nonstop flights are scheduled to operate with one daily flight on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, arriving and departing from each destination.

Speaking in a press release, David Jehn, Vice President of Network Planning and Airline Partnerships at JetBlue said:

We look forward to continuing to diversify our network, providing our customers exceptional travel experiences to more destinations. This new nonstop route not only introduces our low fares and great service to customers traveling to and from St. Kitts but provides access to all the cities we serve from New York and strengthens our presence in the Caribbean.

Meanwhile, Marsha T. Henderson, Minister of Tourism, International Transport, Civil Aviation, Urban Development, Employment and Labour for St. Kitts & Nevis spoke of the new connection, saying:

We are pleased to announce that today signifies a momentous occasion, as JetBlue embarks on its inaugural flight to St. Kitts.

Henderson went on to say that this “noteworthy milestone enhances the connectivity of our destination from the United States and underscores our partnership with the esteemed airline, JetBlue,” adding:

We can’t wait to extend a warm welcome to more U.S. visitors, affording them the opportunity to partake in the exceptional and authentically Caribbean experiences St. Kitts has to offer.

St. Kitts is the largest of the two Caribbean islands and offers a variety of cultural attractions. Among these is well-preserved colonial architecture, with historic sites like the UNESCO World Heritage Site Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park. The island also boasts idyllic beaches backed by lush greenery mountains and volcanic peaks. This latest JetBlue nonstop route to St. Kitts and Nevis is a continuation of the airline’s growth beyond the US. The airline now offers more than 39 international destinations in two dozen countries. It is within recent years that the airline has built a network taking travelers throughout the Caribbean and Latin America.

Moreover, JetBlue serves 28 of those countries from JFK, with an average of 180 departures daily during peak seasons. Meanwhile, the airline plans to continue to grow, offering more choices and options to its customers.

Travelpulse quotes Ellison Thompson, CEO of St. Kitts Tourism Authority, saying in a statement how thrilled they are to celebrate this new, direct, year-round service from New York to St. Kitts three times each week. Thompson added:
