Princess Cruises has announced a new, upcoming historic America Cruisetour to celebrate the 250th anniversary of America. Guests who book will enjoy a 14-night land and cruise experience that highlight’s America’s roots. Locations include the nation’s capital, Washington, DC, Philadelphia, Williamsburg and more.

Historic America Cruisetour from Princess Cruises

A 2025 Canada and New England cruise sailing out of New York City will now offer its guests an immersive experience in Historic America. On the scenic East Coast cruise, guests will tour the nation’s capital, Washington, DC, and interact with early settlers at a living history museum.

Moreover, they will visit Independence Hall in Philadelphia before standing on the same soil as Thomas Jefferson at his Monticello estate, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

All the stops on the historic America Cruisetour

Guests experiencing Historic America Cruisetour will enjoy a seven-night, hosted land tour. This will include stays in Washington D.C., Williamsburg, Staunton, Gettysburg and Philadelphia. Next, they will board a seven-day Canada/New England cruise on the Enchanted Princess, roundtrip from New York City.

The Princess Cruises’ Historic America Cruisetour includes hotels, motorcoach transportation, sightseeing and most breakfasts and dinners. Meanwhile, the following is a sample itinerary for guests booking the experience:

  • Day 1: Arrive at Washington, DC
  • Day 2: Tour Arlington Cemetery, Embassy Row, National Cathedral, museums of choice, evening illumination tour of Lincoln, Vietnam, World War II, and Korean War Memorials
  • Day 3: Visit Mount Vernon, George Washington’s iconic estate, and Jamestown Settlement before arriving in Williamsburg for dinner at a Colonial Williamsburg Tavern
  • Day 4: Full day exploring Colonial Williamsburg historic area
  • Day 5: Tour Richmond National Battlefield Park and Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello estate
