Royal Caribbean International has partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help kids who are battling serious illnesses fulfill their life-changing wishes. This good news story comes as the cruise line invites travelers to donate online and to learn more about the new partnership which also features the Wishes at Sea program.

Royal Caribbean International teams up with Make-A-Wish

Founded in the United States in 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation is a nonprofit organization that helps fulfill the wishes of children with critical illness between the ages of three and 18. Meanwhile, Royal Caribbean International is inviting its guests to donate online through the partnership, including the Wishes at Sea program. Moreover, this will grant the wishes of children from all around the world.

Leslie Motter, President and CEO of Make-A-Wish America said in a statement:

We know that a wish can chart a new course in these children’s lives, and we look forward to having the opportunity to work together to deliver that life-changing impact.

Free room onboard with Royal Caribbean for wish kids

Via the partnership with Make-A-Wish America, the cruise line offers wish kids and their immediate families a free room onboard one of its cruise ships. But that’s not all, as they also receive VIP treatment throughout their cruises, including exclusive experiences, free Wi-Fi and private FlowRider sessions and adventures at Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean’s private island destination.

Here, kids will have access to the most thrilling waterpark in the Caribbean and The Bahamas. This includes a private cabana and a high-flying experience on the Up, Up & Away helium balloon and so much more.

Moreover, according to the press release, the cruise line is planning ahead for the future when they will roll out additional ways for travelers to engage with Make-A-Wish, including walkathons, Walk for Wishes 5Ks and auctions.

Speaking of the new exciting partnership, Michael Bayley, President and Chief Executive Officer for Royal Caribbean International said in a statement:
