Fans of the Ice Rink at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will be thrilled to hear that the resort will once again magically transform the Boulevard Pool into the ultimate rooftop winter wonderland. This will feature a 4,200 sq. ft ice rink offering panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip.

Visitors can enjoy skating here all day for just $30. Meanwhile, from Monday through Thursday, all-day skating access is only $20 for Nevada residents, military and first responders with a valid ID.

Enjoying the sparkling winter wonderland surrounding the ice rink comes free of charge. While relaxing, guests can enjoy craft cocktails and holiday snacks on the deck, including The Chalet, a magic mountaintop village featuring charming décor and open-air fire pits. Moreover, every Monday and Tuesday, classic holiday films will be screened on the 65-foot marquee above the rink at 7 pm. For that extra touch, there will be snow showers every half hour from 7 pm.

At the Bellagio in Las Vegas, guests will get to enjoy a journey through Tchaikovsky’s ballet classic, The Nutcracker in the Conservatory & Botanical Gardens. The festive display will replicate iconic scenes from the much-loved ballet, telling the story of Clara’s journey through a holiday dreamland.

Visitors will get to enjoy gorgeous floral displays along with festive holiday décor, while each garden bed will showcase different moments from the ballet. MGM Resorts’ plan is to transport guests and visitors to a true winter wonderland. Even better, the display will be free to enter and open 24 hours daily from December 2 through January 2.

Children will love Mandalay Bay during the holidays as Santa Claus is taking his sleigh from the North Pole to Las Vegas. He will be there to see who’s been naughty or nice, as kids get to visit him in the Shark Reef Aquarium. For each paid admission, kids under 12 will receive a complimentary photo with Santa.

Meanwhile, this year will have a different holiday helper in the form of Santa Jaws. Each day, the shark will “swim” by to pose with the kids for a photo. Moreover, Santa will don a Scuba suit to plunge into the shipwreck to wave farewell. Timing is everything, so bear in mind that the holiday fun runs from December 16 to 24, between 10 am and 4 pm. Each hour, there will be special appearances by Santa Jaws for photos. As for Santa, he will dive into the Shipwreck exhibit daily at 4 pm before heading back to the North Pole.
