Abercrombie & Kent Offers Sneak Peek Of New Peruvian Amazon Riverboat

Abercrombie & Kent has revealed artistic renditions of its new Peruvian Amazon riverboat, Pure Amazon. Planned to launch in mid-2025, the riverboat is named for the rich biodiversity and pristine beauty of the river on which it will cruise. Meanwhile, pre-registration is open and sales will start in August 2024.

With her launch, we invite guests to embark on a transformative journey into the very soul of the Amazon, where unparalleled adventures intertwine with the warm hospitality and exceptional service that define every A&K voyage.

Pure Amazon was designed by A&K Travel Group’s architect, Adriana Granato of the Milan-based architecture and research practice, Studio Ibsen, in collaboration with local artisans. The luxurious riverboat features 10 elegant suites and two single cabins, the design of which is a testament to the rich cultural heritage of Peru.

Throughout Pure Amazon, handcrafted furnishing is made from locally sourced materials, thereby immersing guests in the hues and textures of the Amazon. Each suite features expansive windows revealing the passing riverscapes with all their beauty.

All the spaces feature carefully chosen materials, colors and lighting to enhance the spectacular views that guests can enjoy throughout their river cruise, making for an unforgettable and immersive experience.

Besides the luxurious accommodations, the riverboat features a selection of inviting spaces for guests to relax and socialize. They can relax and enjoy a cocktail in the indoor and outdoor lounges and the dining room features a menu that celebrates the Peruvian Amazon’s diverse culinary traditions, crafted from fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
