According to the study, the best city for solo travel is Taipei in Taiwan. The city has a composite score of 95.7. Navigating the city alone is easy and comfortable due to its high safety and walkability scores. Moreover, Taipei offers budget-friendly dining choices at inexpensive restaurants of around $6, considered to be the lowest meal costs in the top destinations.

2. Hong Kong, China

Coming in at number 2, Hong Kong has a composite score of 92.0. While compared to Taipei, its local food scene is slightly more expensive, with dining in inexpensive restaurants charging around $8.8. 3. Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
