Water parks in Andalucía, southern Spain for a family vacation
While many visitors head straight to the beach or pool to cool down, these water parks are a great alternative to cool down in the summer heat. Meanwhile, each water park is designed to be fun for adults and children of all ages. Below we list some of Andalucía’s most notable water parks. Each offers the opportunity to relax in the sun, have a dip in the wave pools, or have fun on the adrenaline-fueled water slides.
1. Aqualand, Torremolinos
Aqualand is known as the largest water park on the Costa del Sol and is located in the seaside town of Torremolinos. Meanwhile, the park has adrenaline-pumping slides, including the highest water slide in Spain, the Kamikaze (pictured above). The park also has a series of rapids as well as a surf beach area with a wave machine. This water park features a great selection of water slides to suit the whole family. However, it also has its own 262-ft Kamikaze slide for the daredevil in the family. Meanwhile, the kids can enjoy the wave pool and their own area for fun while adults can take advantage of the spa area and restaurant. Moreover, Aquavelis also hosts a Virtual Reality Arcade VRFun to keep the family entertained.4. Agua Mágica, Sevilla, Spain
Located alongside the Isla Mágica theme park, Agua Mágica is in the heart of beautiful Sevilla. One of the most notable features is the water park’s pool, which stretches for almost 1 km (0.6 mi). Meanwhile, the park also has a fun zip line, a section for the kids and a relaxation area. Meanwhile, the park offers many water slides, themed pools and other attractions.5. Bahía Park, Algeciras
This fun water park features a wide range of water slides and attractions, as well as a large children’s area for the little ones.
