Nestling less than a mile from the Zion National Park in Springdale, Utah, Red Cliffs Lodge, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel is managed by Azul Hospitality Group. The hotel boasts 132 guest rooms, each offering spectacular views of the surroundings, and guests with furry members of the family are welcome to stay here with their pups.

Guests can dine onsite at the new signature restaurant, Scout Bar & Grill, while the hotel boasts more than 1,000 square feet of meeting space, an outdoor pool and hot tub and a fitness center.

About the reimagination of the hotel

The reimagined Red Cliffs Lodge Zion forms part of Marriott Bonvoy’s Tribute Portfolio. When designing the hotel, Atwater Inc Studio took inspiration from the hotel’s surroundings of rich reds, oranges, greens and blues which make it nestle perfectly into the landscapes.

On entering the striking property, the lobby (pictured above) has been designed to evoke feelings of gathering around a campfire with its large fireplace and custom artwork.

About the lodge

According to the hotel’s official website, guests are surrounded by the majestic red cliffs and “starry night skies” experienced at the gateway to Zion National Park. Moreover, the hotel is a launch point for an adventure in the wilderness that extends beyond the hiking trails of Zion, as it invites guests to explore the broader canvas of Springdale’s fun activities, its local culture, shopping and dining.

Guests can view regional artisan’s wares and walk to local outfitters, all within walking distance of the lodge. Moreover, it is only steps from the entrance to the Zion National Park. Whether attempting the red-cliff heights of Angel’s Landing, exploring the Virgin River that carved the narrow gorge between the park’s massive red cliffs, or finding their way through the Narrows, the lodge is the ideal home base for everything the national park offers.
