Uniworld announces new Seine River cruise from Paris

For the 2025 season, we’re thrilled for guests to experience this new addition to our Holiday Collection. It’s a fresh way to experience this magical season aboard a decked-out floating boutique hotel that immerses guests in French holiday traditions.
About the river cruise
Desserts on SS Joie de Vivre [Image courtesy Uniworld River Cruises]The SS Joie de Vivre sets sail from Paris and arrives in Versailles for a private tour prior to visiting cities throughout the French countryside. This will include activities like a walking tour of Rouen, home to Monet’s famous studio. Moreover, guests will visit a Normandy Cider Farm, a private choral performance in Rouen Cathedral and a “Make Travel Matter” experience with a local family preserving traditional broom weaving.

Moreover, guests can explore the iconic Christmas markets of Europe, and various markets in Paris and the countryside. Here, they will sample vin chaud (French mulled wine) and browse stalls of Christmas decorations, regional produce and specialties from all over France.

Meanwhile, the 128-passenger cruise ship features a spa and wellness center, dining options, bar and entertainment venues and a Parisian-style sidewalk cafe. Moreover, guests can pre-book a seven-course meal preparation experience with one of Uniworld’s chefs.
Along with the festive décor, guests can enjoy an idyllic Christmas ambiance, also with all-inclusive meals, beverages and excursions outside of Masterpiece Collection options.
