Celestyal Cruises Unveils Details Of ‘Iconic Arabia’ Itineraries

Details have been revealed about Celestyal Cruises and its new, “Iconic Arabia” itineraries for 2025. The two cruise ships, Celestyal Journey and Celestyal Discovery will sail to the Arabian Gulf for the winter season. Meanwhile, Celestyal Journey will start homeporting in Doha in November, while Celestyal Discovery will homeport in Abu Dhabi in 2025.

Celestyal Cruises and its ‘Iconic Arabia’ Itineraries

Sailors can choose either a 3- or a 4-night cruise, sailing round trip from Mina Zayed, Abu Dhabi, from December 2025 to February 2026, and December 2026 to February 2027.

Lee Haslett, chief commercial officer at Celestyal said in a statement:

We are renowned for our immersive, authentic travel experiences, and we couldn’t be more excited to replicate this ethos in our new winter home of the Arabian Gulf.

Iconic Arabia – 3-night cruise

The three-night cruise is designed to offer a captivating adventure, showcasing the best of the Arabian Gulf. The cruise begins in Abu Dhabi, a futuristic metropolis of towering skyscrapers, a place where some of the world’s most rich and famous come to play.

Guests will then head to Doha, a city boasting a fascinating history, before finding serenity on the beautifully preserved shores of Sir Bany Yas Island. The “Get Closer to Nature” tour takes guests to this spectacular, natural sanctuary which hosts much in the way of exotic wildlife, allowing guests to reconnect with nature, while witnessing the raw beauty of the Arabian Peninsula.

The “Art, Culture and Afternoon Tea” excursions offer guests the opportunity to explore Katara Cultural Village to enjoy afternoon tea. Meanwhile, other tours include a behind-the-scenes look at the Yas Marina Circuit, ziplining and cooking lessons at the National Hospitality Institute and more.

Finally, the cruise returns to Abu Dhabi, with guests full of great memories and excited by the experience in the Arabian Gulf. Read more about the excursions here.

Iconic Arabia – 4 nights

This itinerary offers a four-night adventure of a lifetime cruising through the enchanting Arabian Peninsula. The voyage begins in the opulent city of Abu Dhabi, where the towering modern skyscrapers coexist with long-held traditions in a culture of its own.

Guests will sail to the port of Fujairah, nestling against the sprawling Hajar Mountains, with its idyllic beaches and thrilling tour options, including skiing and 4×4 driving. Moreover, after docking at Port Sultan Qaboos and spending a day in Oman’s capital, Muscat, passengers will tour the charming town of Khassab, dubbed the “Norway of Arabia,” due to its beautiful fjords, rugged cliffs and the ideal sport for dolphin watching. Guests will then return to Abu Dhabi, after completing an exciting journey through the Arabian Gulf.
