When seeking a vacation in paradise with pristine beaches and crystal-clear water, Americans now have a choice of nonstop flights from four US cities. This paradise is Fiji, a remote island paradise nestling in the South Pacific. Unlike Bali or the Maldives, this makes Fiji the perfect location for Americans seeking a paradisiacal adventure.

Fiji is a paradise that is easier to visit for American travelers

Americans will be able to fly nonstop from four US cities to Fiji, including the latest addition of Dallas-Fort Worth with Fiji Airways. If the South Pacific location has been on your bucket list forever, now is the time to visit and enjoy everything it has to offer. While flying long distances on long-haul flights isn’t the best experience, the destination is well worth the journey.

While Cancun offers American travelers clear blue waters, swaying palm trees and pristine white sand, Fiji does it better without the tourist crowds. Moreover, Fiji has a fascinating and unique culture, where the “Bula” spirit can’t be replicated. Fijians are renowned for their welcoming warmth and hospitality, always ready to welcome Americans to their shores.

Exploring inland Fiji

While the idyllic beaches are a huge draw, heading inland and exploring stunning natural sights and local markets is also a pleasure. For a true cultural experience, attend a traditional Kava ceremony in local villages, or hire a guide to take you to epic waterfalls like the 64-foot Biausevu Waterfalls. There is an endless list of cultural experiences to explore in the paradise that is Fiji.

Meanwhile, residents of Dallas and Fort Worth will have their chance to enjoy a nonstop flight to paradise. While the airport is one of America’s busiest, once you get to the Fiji Airways desk, everything is smooth from there on. While it will be the longest flight in their schedules, this highly-rated airline will ensure your comfort.

We should mention that the Dallas-Fort Worth connection to paradise isn’t official yet, but the airline has filed all the necessary applications and these are normally approved. Moreover, while it has yet to be official, the following details will apply to the new route:
  • Flights will be on offer on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
  • Flight time will be around 13 hours each way
  • The journey is on a spacious 334-seat Airbus A350-900
  • The flight will depart from Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) and arrive in Nadi (NAN).
  • Other American airports offering nonstop flights to Fiji

While Dallas-Fort Worth is the latest addition, the following flights to Nadi are already available to American travelers with only some flying nonstop:

  • Honolulu (HNL): three flights per week (nonstop only Saturday)
  • San Francisco (SFO): five flights per week (nonstop only Thursday, Saturday)
  • Los Angeles (LAX): daily service
  • Dallas (DFW): three flights per week
