The Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights, is a fascinating, natural spectacle, best seen on board a Princess Cruises sailing to Alaska. The cruise line has announced its “North to Alaska with Princess” program with new immersive experiences for the 55th Anniversary 2024 Cruise and Cruisetour Season. Those dreamy images of green and purple colors swirling in the northern sky are a magical experience and something all guests sailing this summer to Alaska with Princess Cruises are guaranteed to see.

This year, guests on a Princess Cruise will enter a planetarium in the Princess Theater to enjoy a front-row seat to the Northern Lights presentation. This wonderful presentation will reveal the beauty and wonder of this natural phenomenon, with live imagery, designed to engage adults and children alike.

Terry Thornton, Chief Commercial Officer of Princess Cruises said in a press release:

Each season in Alaska we strive to deliver enriching experiences for our guests to feel immersed in the beauty and local culture of this spectacular destination.

After receiving our highest guest satisfaction ranking ever last season, we knew we wanted to design elevated programming to further connect our guests to all of the wonders of the 49th state for our 55th anniversary season.
