– Explore historic Split
Split is the second-largest city in Croatia after its capital, Zagreb. It is also the largest in Dalmatia and on the Croatian coast overlooking the Adriatic Sea. The city is best known for the ruins of the Palace of Diocletian (295-305 CE) and, along with historic royal residences, fortifications and churches in Split, was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979.– Dubrovnik on the Adriatic Sea
The city of Dubrovnik nestles in southern Croatia on the Adriatic Sea and is famous for its iconic Old Town, within massive stone walls from the 16th century. Among the buildings travelers should visit are the Renaissance Sponza Palace, the baroque St. Blaise Church and the Gothic Rector’s Palace, now a history museum. Travelers can also explore the pedestrianized Stradun, lined with shops and restaurants.– Port and resort town on the island of Hvar
Each summer, the harbor in Hvar fills with yachts, while ferries connect the town with the Pakleni Islands. Among the islands, visitors can enjoy secluded beaches, including Ždrilca Bay, pine forests and rocky coves. Meanwhile, Hula Hula Beach in Hvar and Stipanska Beach on Marinkovac Island are both known for lively nightlife.
