Disney Cruise Line launches Disney Magic at Sea in Australia and New Zealand
A good number of families down under are currently enjoying time onboard the Disney Wonder on the inaugural Disney Magic at Sea. This marks an exciting time for all families in Australia and New Zealand as the two to six-night special sailings are set to continue from now, through February 2024.Depending on where Australian and New Zealander families live, the Disney Wonder sails from Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney in Australia. Meanwhile, for Kiwis, cruises also depart from the city of Auckland, New Zealand.
While on board, parents and children will be immersed in their favorite Disney Stories, as well as fun activities for the family to enjoy and spaces to experience them. Naturally, this includes the imaginative dining and world-class entertainment the cruise line is renowned for.
Entertainment for the whole family
While onboard the Disney Wonder, families will get to enjoy new versions of the Heroes Unite deck party and Crush’s Totally Awesome Pool Party. The kids will also enjoy special character encounters including the inaugural first appearance of Moana on the high seas. This entertainment will allow families and children to experience Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars characters and stories in new and inventive ways.Disney Magic at Sea in the Fall
Meanwhile, Disney Cruise Line also announced the return of the cruise line to Australia and New Zealand during the fall of 2024. This will see a second season of fun vacations, including sailings from October 2024 to February 2025.
Meanwhile, on its return to Australia, the Disney Wonder will set sail on a number of bucket-list itineraries. The popular cruise ship will sail from Vancouver, Canada, to Honolulu, Hawaii in late September 2024. Along the way, the Disney Wonder will stop over at the islands of Kauai, Hawaii, Maui and Oahu. From there, the ship will embark on a trans-Pacific voyage to Sydney, Australia. Along the way, guests will visit once-in-a-lifetime locations like American Samoa, Fiji and New Caledonia.
These new sailings form part of Disney Cruise Line’s major expansion. Not only is the cruise line sailing in Australia and New Zealand, but it also has three new ships coming through 2025.
