JetBlue reveals two new nonstop flights to Europe in 2024
Both of JetBlue’s new nonstop flights will be seasonal with one starting in March and the other in May and running through September 30, 2024. Each is perfect for planning a spring or summer vacation.
As part of the airline’s trans-Atlantic expansion, travelers will be able to fly direct to Dublin, Ireland and Edinburgh, Scotland from the United States. Both launch in the spring, with daily flights to Dublin starting on March 13, 2024, from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Logan International Airport in Boston.The new nonstop flights from New York City to Edinburgh start on May 22, 2024. Meanwhile, the new direct European routes make it easier to access these popular destinations at a lower cost.
About the airline’s trans-Atlantic routes
The airline started launching trans-Atlantic routes in 2021, offering affordable round-trip fares for as little as $499 in economy. JetBlue wanted to compete with the larger airlines like American Airlines, Delta and United, and major European airlines.JetBlue launched the first international route from New York to London in the summer of 2021. This was followed by routes to Paris earlier in 2023 and to Amsterdam in September. Meanwhile, Dublin and Edinburgh are just the latest locations to be served by the rapidly growing airline.
About JetBlue’s new routes to Dublin and Edinburgh
As reported by The Points Guy, round-trip fares for Dublin and Edinburgh will be priced as low as $400 in economy and $2,000 in JetBlue’s Mint business class.Launching on March 13, 2024, the new Dublin route will give travelers in New York and Boston the chance to visit the city in time for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. Moreover, passengers will be able to visit Edinburgh and experience its culture and history from May 22, 2024.
Other new flights from JetBlue
During 2023, JetBlue has announced a number of new European routes, including nonstop flights from New York to Paris this summer. Meanwhile, a second daily flight will launch on June 20, 2024.Those travelers in the Boston area will be able to experience Paris in the spring, with the new route launching on April 3, 2024. Moreover, starting this fall, the airline has started flights from New York and Boston to Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
