If you want to cruise but are not keen on a massive, multi-deck ship, Emerald Cruises has the perfect answer. The cruise line’s Emerald Azzurra offers the feeling of sailing on a private yacht with a maximum of 100 guests. This means the ship is small enough to enter lesser-visited ports that the giant ships cannot access. It also means more destinations to visit with fewer crowds. Read on to find out more about Emerald Azzurra and what the ship has to offer you.

Part of the Emerald Cruises fleet, the 100-guest Emerald Azzurra is a small, luxury cruise ship, offering a bespoke ambiance with personalized service. Meanwhile, what this small ship doesn’t have is noisy entertainment, long queues, a casino, crowds or a late-night disco with pounding music.

That doesn’t mean that the ship doesn’t have entertainment. What it does offer is varied activities and low-key evenings with trivia games and contests. Moreover, guests are treated to unpretentious, local onboard entertainment, such as a guitarist or local dance troupe. The Emerald Azzurra also serves guests delicious food, offering regional specialties and a great selection.

While all this is on the plus scale, there is one minus aspect. This is a small ship, which has excellent stabilizers, but it can still roll a little in choppy seas. However, your captain offers guests weather reports throughout the day and will on occasion alert passengers with motion sickness issues.

– Location of the suites

Two Deluxe Balcony Suites open to the Pool Deck and feature separate lounge and bedroom areas and a private balcony. Terrace Suites can be found on the Panorama Deck and offer oversized terraces, a pillow menu and laundry facilities for two items each day.

Meanwhile, all accommodations offer plenty of storage space, especially in the bathrooms. This is due to the cleverly designed vanity, which offers little countertop space, but lots of storage underneath, and two mirrored medicine cabinets above.
